Bitcoin price declined on Tuesday as US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Tesla CEO Elon Musk spoke out about the cryptocurrency’s recent rally. According to Coin Metrics, the world’s most valuable digital coin fell 11% in 24 hours, dropping below $ 50,000 and trading about $ 48,080 at 11:30 ET. It earlier fell 16% to hit an intraday low of $ 45,041. Smaller digital tokens like Ether and XRP have also dropped. Ether fell 11% to $ 1,573, while XRP fell 17% to 47 cents.
